Zoya Mesaric

I’m a psychotherapist (i.A.u.S.) specializing in psychoanalysis with 6+ years of working experience. I am based in Vienna, Austria. I speak Slovenian, Serbo-Croatian, English fluently, and Spanish.

My interest in psychotherapy, especially psychoanalysis, blossomed very early. As Friedrich Nietzsche said, “he who has a why to live can bear almost any how,” and I was a curious child in the constant search of the ‘why’. I was interested and still am in why people behave as they do.

My main expertise is female sexuality, and my specialization is trauma. During my education, I accomplished multiple internships. Furthermore, I worked with people suffering from different mental illnesses, from those suffering from addictions to those who committed crimes such as murders.

Since I believe that ‘every human is a new world’, everyone requires a different treatment. I am not a fan of diagnoses; my goal is to reduce, if not eliminate, your symptoms with your active participation.
