Chang Kai Ru

I am a Clinical Psychologist Trainee at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). I am handling university students from multi-national. My unique professional experience was dealing with children and adults with special needs. I got extensive classroom experience with children or students who has learning difficulties and mental health issues. In order to assist them in learning, I created engaging lesson plans and integrated educational technology to drive retention, comprehension, and participation. Most importantly, I accomplished building trust and meaningful relationships between students, parents, and administrators to maintain a positive working collaboration. Based on these experiences, I decided to venture into the field of Clinical Psychologist to contribute myself in assisting people who have mental health issues.
