I am a licensed clinical and counselling psychologist for 12 years with extensive practise in assessment, therapeutical intervention and case management. I have a post-graduation in criminal and forensic psychology and have worked in Mozambique at the country's largest hospital as a forensic psychologist, assessing both victims of crime and offenders - victims of neglect, sexual, physical and psychological abuse, domestic violence, torture, displacement and human trafficking. For Peace Corps Mozambique I provided for short individual therapy and group sessions on self-psychological care, stress management, critical incident management, burn out, drug and alcohol addiction and depression prevention. I intervened in critical cases and as part of a multidisciplinary team, provided technical guidance upon referral and/or repatriation cases.
