I have experience in implementing diagnosing tools in my practice and learning how to effectively talk with patients struggling with mental health issues affords me a well-rounded skill set. My experience working at a psychiatry clinic in Dubai has allowed me to develop my therapeutic skills and expand on personal attributes that are vital to the therapeutic process. I used diagnostic psychological tests to evaluate the patient’s mental health needs, and relied on my counselling techniques like empathy, listening and unconditional positive regard to connect with the client. I contributed positively to the clinic and increased the patient’s overall mental health level.
