George Vachtsevanos

I have studied Psychology (Bachelor) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and Gender, Sexuality and Society (Master of Science) at Birkbeck, University of London, United Kingdom. My Internship was at the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki “G. Papanikolaou” working as a Psychologist helping people with mental health and drug abuse issues. My Erasmus Internship was at the La Laguna University of Tenerife, Spain working as a Psychologist on the prejudice and visibility of the trans community of the island. I have volunteered as a Psychologist in a programme entitled “Autonomy and Communication” in Thessaloniki, Greece, which focused on the active participation of disabled people in society and the restoration of their rights. Currently, I am working voluntarily as a Consultant at @lgbt_greece_, an Instagram account, with the principal aims to help, empower, support, amplify and protect the queer community of Greece.
