I completed my undergraduate education in Ankara with a scholarship in the Department of Psychology at Çankaya University, and my master’s degree at Eötvös Lorand University in Budapest with a Hungarian state scholarship.

During my master’s degree, I gained experience in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction in the non-governmental organization called Drug Stop Association. I received training on individual and group therapies given after drug cessation. For example, the 12 Step Programme, the Minnesota Programme, Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous groups meetings.

During my undergraduate studies, I had two internship experiences, the first of which was voluntarily at İbn-i Sina Hospital (Ankara) and the second was at Johannesbad Facklinik Hochsauerland (Scmallenberg/Germany). In my first internship, I worked mainly on depression, dementia and Alzheimer’s with clients aged 65 and over in the geriatrics department. In my second internship, I worked with Turkish clients residing in Germany and receiving treatment in a rehabilitation center. I conducted psychoeducational group sessions and group sessions that included the Progressive Muscle Relaxation exercise as part of Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Mainly between the ages of 18-60; I have worked with clients receiving therapy for trauma, domestic violence, abuse, depression/ major depression, addiction, stress and anxiety disorders.

In line with the trainings I have received, I see Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a therapy school close to my own approach and I continue to improve myself in this regard. I will conduct the interviews with peer supervision in a way that will provide maximum benefit to me, you, the clients and the therapy.

The biggest reason I put my effort into this section is to contribute to the personal experience of countless people who have difficulties in any subject and try to find a solution to this difficulty with their own perspectives and views on life. For this purpose, within my experience and knowledge, I support these processes, which are different and special for everyone.
