I am a trainee clinical psychologist who is currently in her last year of master's studies in clinical psychology. My specialisation is cognitive-behavioural therapy.
I have studied a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and now I am finishing the last year of master’s degree in clinical psychology in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. By completing this degree, I am aiming at becoming a certified clinical psychologist and therapist, recognised by the European Association for Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and by the Albert Ellis Institute. The main topics of study covered in my master’s programme are clinical psychology and psychotherapy, counselling, developmental psychology, psychodiagnosis and clinical evaluation, clinical cognitive science, research methods, CBT intervention techniques applied in the organisational, educational and forensic domains, psychiatry, positive psychology, ethics and parenting techniques.
My master’s thesis is on the topic of the efficiency of a therapeutic game in treating psychological disorders in a clinical sample of young patients. My professional experience in clinical psychology regards online workshops and individualĀ counselling sessions and two clinical practices in a local oncological hospital and in a local psychiatric hospital in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I am fluent in English since my level is C1/C2 according to the CEFR framework and I also speak German and Spanish level B1.
