Tsholofelo Rampai (Med psychology)

I am a 24-year old who obtained a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Physiology and
Psychology and an Bachelor of Social Science Honours degree in Psychology. I also
obtained a Counselling skills certificate. During my educational period, I learned that I am
able to work well on own initiatives and can demonstrate the high levels of motivations
required to meet the tightest of deadline. In my postgraduate year, we conducted mini-thesis
where I acquired skills to work with diverse and demanding individuals. I also acquired selfawareness,
leadership, problem-solving and communication skills necessary for work in the
broad field of Psychology and working with people in general. I possess a strong ability to
perform effectively and enjoy being part of a vibrant, successful and productive team since I
am quick to adapt and grasp new ideas and concepts. I am an aspiring Educational
Psychologist and a job opportunity will not only open doors for me professionally, but it
will give me an opportunity to better my skills and knowledge that I can carry on to practice
in the working environment within the field of Social Science. I am currently studying parttime
towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a volunteer lay counsellor trainee
at Life Line.
