PCOS Treatment in Zimbabwe

There is currently no cure for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which is a common condition that affects around 10% of women of childbearing age. However, there are various treatments available that can help manage the symptoms of PCOS.

One of the most common treatments for PCOS is weight loss. This is because obese women have a higher prevalence of PCOS and tend to have more severe symptoms than thinner women. Weight loss also improves insulin resistance, one of the key factors that contributes to PCOS.

Other treatments include birth control pills and exercise. Oral contraceptives help regulate menstrual cycles and reduce the risk of developing diabetes, both conditions that are associated with PCOS. Exercise has been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and decrease inflammation, both of which are linked to PCOS.

PCOS treatment in Zimbabwe may involve a combination of these different therapies. If you’re struggling with PCOS and want to find out more about your options, speak with your doctor or healthcare provider.

“I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. I had been struggling for years with hormonal imbalances and other symptoms of PCOS, but never knew that this is what I had. After my diagnosis, I was referred to MantraCare in Zimbabwe by my doctor. The team at MantraCare really helped me understand the condition and how to manage it. After just a few months of treatment, I noticed an incredible difference in my symptoms. My periods were regular, my energy levels were higher, and I was feeling more balanced overall.
