Mental health professionals who have an interest in learning how to effectively diagnose and treat OCD have several different training options from which to choose. One of the most respected and well-known organizations involved in providing training for mental health professionals is the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). In this blog post, we will provide an overview of IOCDF’s Training Institute for Behavioral Therapies (BTTI). Including information on what it is, the curriculum, history and development, eligibility requirements, and how you can apply to IOCDF’s BTTI faculty.
Explaining IOCDF Training
The IOCDF’s Training Institute for Behavioral Therapies (BTTI) offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to train mental health professionals in the effective diagnosis and treatment of OCD.
The BTTI curriculum is based on the latest scientific research and evidence-based practices. And is designed to be flexible so that it can be tailored to the needs of each trainee.
The Institute offers both online and in-person training and provides trainees with access to a variety of resources. Including an extensive library of OCD-related materials.
History And Development
IOCDF’s Training Institute for Behavioral Therapies was set up in 2006. It was in response to the growing need for scientific and evidence-based training in the effective diagnosis and treatment of OCD. The Institute saw the light through the effort of a team of experts in the field of OCD. Including Dr. Jonathan S. Abramowitz, who serves as the Director of BTTI.
Choosing The Right Training For You
When choosing a training program, it is important to consider your individual needs and goals. The IOCDF offers a variety of training options to meet the needs of mental health professionals at all levels of experience.
