Online therapy in Ankara is becoming more common as the world becomes more connected.
Online therapists help those who may feel anxious about meeting face to face in a therapist’s room, those who can’t afford offline therapy or those that simply prefer the convenience and anonymity of online counselling and psychotherapy.
The world of online counselling is vast, but many people are still unconvinced about the validity of online therapy, with some feeling that it is not real therapy.
However, there are plenty of therapists who can provide solid support and guidance through your issues via Skype or other messaging apps.
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

According to the health department of Ankara, more than 2,000 people commit suicide in the city each year which comprises about 8.5 percent of all deaths.
The overall rate for suicides in Turkey is around 11 percent (22 per 100,000) with no real difference between men or women; among females, it is 7% while among males it is 14%. The highest rates are seen in the age groups 18-24 years (19%) and 25-34 years (18%). However, when we look at different population groups for this age group, the rate is twice as high when compared to the general population. This means that young people with mental health conditions are more likely to commit suicide when compared to the rest of the population.
The rate for suicides in Ankara is slightly lower than the national average due to the relatively large young population in Ankara where 77 percent are under 30, which is about 60 percent of Turkey’s population. However, when we look at different age groups in Ankara, the highest rates were reported in both 5-9 years (three per 100,000) and 30-34 years (two per 100,000) age groups with a male predominance in all age groups except among those aged between 5-9 years. The male to female ratio was around 4:1 for most ages above the 20s while it was 1:1 for ages between 10-14 years and 15-19 years.
